Hi Prakash,

What framework are you using to create your Adobe form?

a) ISR? - Then starting the workflow is part of the configuration of
this framework

b) HCM Processing and Forms? - Then starting the workflow is part of the
configuration of this framework

c) CRM Web Requests? - I assume it's not that as usually you would then
talk to the interaction client rather than workflow.

d) WebDynpro ABAP or WebDynpro Java? - Then you need to fire a workflow
event in the component controller when your form is submitted. The event
needs to pass sufficient information so that the workflow can retrieve
the form data from whereever you have stored it.

Adobe forms are a powerful paper-like UI.

Adobe forms are NOT:

a) A document storage mechanism

b) A workflow triggering mechanism

For both of the above you need to use the framework or application to
store the document and then trigger the workflow.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Jocelyn

Thank you Clinton.

But my client is expecting some kind of coding under the
SUBMIT button to achieve this instead of configurations. The form is
already crated. Previously we thought to achieve this through SCOT
settings once after receiving mail, but the scenario has changed to this
way. Can you suggest if you have any other ideas..

You need to set up the ISR configuration. Try transaction QISRSCENARIO.
There you'll see the notification type.

In SPRO go to (IMG > Cross app > Notifications > Processing on
Internet) - there is a big button at the bottom of the ISR detail screen
called Addition Data for Scenario. Workflow details is in there. You can
then see the standard setup...
