Hi David,

You can use a normal activity and just include your custom workflow number -prefixing WS - while mentioning the task for this step.
Hope this is what you were looking for.

Regards,
Akshay

Subject: Step Type 'Subworkflow'
Hello Workflow experts,
I am working on version SAP ECC 6.0 and I want to use an existing customized workflow which is event driven and insert a decision point in that workflow that if certain condition is present the workflow should branch to a completely new workflow which I am developing. I thought that the new workflow would be a sub-workflow of the existing workflow since it is activated by the existing workflow.

However when I searched for the step type 'Subworkflow' in this version of SAP that step type was not available (the subworkflow step type is the activity step type with 3 arrows pointing right). I am sure that SAP is indicating that another step type or some other procedure should be used. I investigated 'local workflow' but this does not seem appropriate.

Does anybody know what would be appropriate for me to use to branch out of the existing workflow.?

Thanks you

David |
