Lock Document while Workflow Processing

Aghardip,

The locking mechanism isn't really designed for this sort of situation.
Locks should exist for hours at most. They are also released when a user
logs off.

You need to build your own locking mechanism (as HR does). Set a lock
indicator in the document which you then check in a BAdI or somewhere
whenever a user tries to open the doc in change mode.
