How to re-send the workitem on a Deadline monitoring?

Hi Guys,

 

I would like to find out if there is a simple way to re-send the
workitem once the deadline monitoring is triggered. 

 

Problem Statement:

We have a workflow for travel claims. This workitem needs to be executed
within 5 days. If it's not done within 5 days then we need to send an
escalation. The requirement is to send the notification but in addition
to the notification we also need to send the workitem. 

 

My question:

Is there a way I can attach the workitem pending in the inbox in the
notification email as an executable item? Same way like the RSWUWFML2
does?
