Hi Karl,
No that's the demo workflow.... often you need to go up to the higher
level - e.g. up to the PT level itself - or it may be under the ESS
component.
I can't get into a system at the moment but I seem to remember the class
is something like CL...PT .... ABSREQ

Try searching for all ABAP Classes that support the IF_WORKFLOW
interface (in transaction SE24).
Regards,
Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

I followed your advice as I was interested. SWDM in our ECC6 system
shows no workflows linked for any application component, which is odd.
But I presume component PT-RC-AA is the one we want for absences. I
then used option 'Objects' in SWDM for ABAP Classes and from the list of
74 classes displayed selected CL_SWF_FORMABSENC "Notification of
Absence". If this is incorrent please advise. Ikhan may be able to
corroborate.

Thanks.

ABSENCE

Hi Ikhan, Do NOT use the old BOR objects. The new leave workflow uses
ABAP Classes and a series of configuration tables to carefully control
the status.
You must NOT use the old leave approach in an ECC system - it works
against the new ESS leave applications.
You will find it in the relevant application component - use transaction
SWDM to search for workflows in a particular application component area.

Hope that helps.
Regards,
Jocelyn

One way is to create a subtype of BUS7007 and add the event. Also make
sure to specify the delegation.

Hi Friends,
I want to develop leave workflow in ECC 6.0. The BO event which is
getting
triggered when a leave request is created from PA30(Leave request will
be
locked when it is created) is ABSENCE.REQUESTED.But If i check the BO
ABSENCE all the methods in that BO are obsolete. Even there is a SAP
note(731260) which says that ABSENCE should not be used and use BUS7007
should be used, but BUS7007 does not have any event. In this case how
should
I proceed. Please advice.

Regards,
Ikhan
