If we are to help you, please rephrase your question.  It is not at all easy to understand what you are asking. 
You need to be more specific.  e.g. Exactly what behaviour is different and how is it different? What SAP Portal and backend releases are you using? 
 
Also if you think your UWL configuration is NOT task based then I suspect you may lack some fundamental understanding of how the UWL works.  If you are new to the UWL, as appears to be the case based on your question, I would strongly encourage you to purchase Darren Hague's Universal Worklist book from SAP-PRESS and/or read through the SAP Library help on the Universal Worklist to increase your understanding of the UWL.  They will also help you understand the differences between SBWP and UWL.

Thanks for the help.
We have three different workflows - PO, Invoice and work order PO. 
When we open PO and Invoice work items from UWL , they open the same as opened in SBWP(SAP Launch Transaction)
But when we open PO work order workitem, they open as that we see in the portal.
My issue is PO work order should also behave the same as Invoice(as that in SBWP).
Our UWL configuration is not task based-it is same for all the tasks.So it should behave same for all the tasks.
Can anyone suggest how can I solve and what I need to check.
