Approval Limits - HR org structure

Hi John,

I have used infotype 1010 Authorities and Resources for that. In one 
example where this was used, the positions had different Financial 
Delegation Authorities for CAPEX and OPEX; and sometimes a position that 
had authority for CAPEX didn't have for OPEX. So we created 2 subtypes: 
CAPEX and OPEX. The we created the required levels for each subtype: L1 
10,000; L2 50,000; L3 100,000; L4 Unlimited - with a little ABAP 
knoweledge, it wasn't too hard to write the code to retrieve the approver 
based on financial delagation authority.

You can use report RHXHFMT0 to display the data contained in the infotype.

Hi John,
 
It is possible to link an SAP Org Object to the HR Org structure ? which 
would allow you to create/maintain a custom object (say, ZAPPRVL) and link 
the object and it?s values to positions, jobs, etc.

We are doing some finance workflows. As a part of requiremet we have to 
maintaint 'Approval Limits' for each approver positions in HR org 
structure. but I dont see any tab to maintain approval limits in org 
structure?
