Workflow Automatic Approval of leave

Hello Experts!

I was wondering if the following could be done on workflow, if yes do you perhaps know how?  I am using the SAP standard leave workflow WS12300111

Leave applications:-

All leave applications for future leave must be automatically approved on the day the leave commences, if it has not been approved by the manager.  

A notification must be sent to the employee concerned, the approver and the manager of the approver advising them that the leave was auto approved.

Any applications for past leave (e.g. sick leave) must be automatically approved.  A notification must be sent to the employee concerned, and the approver.
