How to switch off the Deadline monitoring for old versions?

Hi Guys,

 

We had an Invoice workflow with deadline escalations. There were some
issues with the deadline escalations on the production environment and
we had to take off the deadline escalations. For this we created a new
version of the workflow in Development environment and removed the
escalations and moved the new version to production to disable the
deadline monitoring. 

 

However we have quite a few of the workflows which were triggered in
production environment with the deadline escalations. Is there a way to
stop the deadline escalations for the old workflows already triggered
and lying in the user's inbox? 

 

We are on SAP ECC 5.0 and using a custom invoice workflow.
