Attatching PDF File in background step (Sample, Rick)

Hi Andy / Rick,
I am not sure this FM will work properly for adding PDF as an
attachment. At least I was not able to use this FM successfully for
adding PDF as attachment to work item.

I did not think too much before I replied before!  But
 
CALL FUNCTION 'SAP_WAPI_ATTACHMENT_ADD'
    ......
 
This appears to attach your document to the WI.  Not sure here, but if
you specify the Wf top level WI, then it will be available to later
steps in your Wf so you can Bind it to the Foreground Step that you want
to.

		I have a need to get a Trip PDF and attach it to a Task
in a background step. 
		I get the PDF just fine. I attach to a task in FORE
GROUND just fine and dandy. 
		 
		Now, where I am stumped. How to attach in a background
step. 
		I obviously can not use GUI controls to achieve this, so
anyone have an idea or three, or an example to reference?
