UWL-Report swn_selsen

RSWNUWLSEL is used if you are using the UWL delta pull only, and also to
create the default SWN_CONFIG entries for delta pull.

If you use delta pull and extended notifications then SWN_SELSEN should
read both the configuration for notifications and delta pull, BUT, if
you schedule both jobs they will lock each other out in my experience.

The problem comes that if you de-schedule RSWNUWLSEL then delta pull
registration doesn't work. My work around is to schedule RSWNUWLSEL for
the year 9999.

If you use this workaround and follow the instructions in SAP Help and
you should get there in the end. Make sure you are well patched and all
the relevant OSS notes are applied.

Regards,

Subject: [LIKELY JUNK]UWL-Report swn_selsen

We are using extended notifications with the Universal Worklist. The
documentation for Extended Notifications indicate that report SWN_SELSEN
is to be used to select workitems based on the schedule for UWL and that
the report RSWNUWLSEL IS NOT TO BE USED. In the configuration of the
UWL there are the parameters for delta pull refresh period(seconds) and
snapshot refresh period(minutes). I am assuming that these parameters
in the UWL play no part in pulling workitems from the backend into the
UWL since RSWNUWLSEL is not being used. Could anyone confim this?

Thank You
