David, It's been many years since I've touched SRM/EBP but I believe the
folllowing still holds true. SRM/EBP workflows use VERY specific
patterns particular around agent assignment. You must work with those
patterns and not freely define agents in other ways that you would
normally be allowed to use in your own workflows. This is because
SRM/EBP includes special functionality e.g. to determine future
approvers in the approval view, and to reasonably support this
functionality they needed to limit the possible options for defining
agents. So please thoroughly read the documentation on the standard EBP
workflows to understand what options are available.
Regards,
Jocelyn

just to add a couple more details, I've generated the task, and ran
SWU_OBUF after each change. Also if I add the agents to the org in
PPOME or PPOMA_BBP the worklfow does find the agents, just curious why
it's not finding the agents maintained in the workflow task. Is there a
setting which indicates to pull the agents from the task itself under
agent assignment or pull from the org unit? thanks-

Hello,
I have a issue with 2 step workflow in EBP 5.0 determining the possible
agents. I have 2 step workflow, the 2nd step determines the agent
assignment from a org unit. I have the agents assigned to the task,
but when the workflow runs it says no agent found. Any idea why the
workflow would ignore the agents assigned to the task?

Many thanks-David
