Hi Vijay,

 

have a look into f.m. PRELIMINARY_POSTING_RELEASE, form 'fcode_bearbeitung'.

A preposted Document is released, if VBKBF.XFRGE is initial.

 

Maybe you should add a background-step 'FIPP. FlagReleaseSet'.

 

Maybe it helps.

Hi Guys,

 

I am having problems with the FIPP BO. I have created a custom workflow to release the parked document and subsequently post the documents.

 

So my workflow essentially does the following:

1). Identifies the initiator of the parked document( Person who created the parked document )

2). Calls the method FIPP --> RELEASE 

3). Once the approver releases the document the workflow checks the return code and post the document if its been released using the method FIPP --> POST

 

 

 

Problem:

1). the workflow seems to be working fine and when I check the workflow log everything seems to be fine. The flow is as expected however the document is neither released nor it is posted. 

2). I then tried to run (test) the methods directly in SWO1 and it behaves the same way. Isn't it supposed to release? 

3). the posting does not work as it requires the document to be released first. Any idea why the release does not work? 

 

Any inputs or pointers to this problem? Is there anything I need to do? Do I need to trigger a COMMIT WORK after the release step? I am expecting that the method should take care of this? Please correct me if I am wrong.
