Delete unneeded work items from Production

Since you cannot archive workitems that are in an in process state and deleting workitems from a production system is not recommended, I would look at writing a program that uses SAP_WAPI function modules to either logically delete/cancel the workflows or programmatically complete them if that is an option. This will ensure you still have the WF logs etc for audit and allow you to archive them at a later date if needed.

Thanks,
Seth

I may add, that you can only archive work items with status COMPLETED or CANCELLED. Work items with that status don't appear in any inboxes.
