Scanning image documents to Vendors

Hi Sue,

Are you then archiving the document?  We use the BO IMAGE to scan
invoices and initiate workflows... would that suffice?

We are on SAP ECC 6.0

 

Currently we have a process where certain image document types are
scanned to employee records which then kick off workflows.  For
employees (BUS1065), there is a BO PREL (Employee document) that we scan
to.

 

Our users want to be able to scan W-9 forms to Vendors.  I see a BO
BUS2020 (Vendor Document), but it is only in Modeled status, so I can't
create the subtype of ZBUS2020 and generate it so I can add the Event
(Assigned) that will trigger the workflow.  It won't let me generate it
because it is in modeled status and BO BUS2020 is an SAP object - which
I don't want to update.

 

Why would SAP have BUS2020 only be in modeled status?  Is there another
BO that I should use?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
