PO Approval workflow hangs in status In Process[Scanned]

VJ,

The Release step is asynchronous and the Workitem would still show up in 
the user's inbox after ME29 execution. Refreshing the inbox should clear 
the workitem from the inbox. If that is not happening, check the event 
trace for the PO Released event for any messages.
