CATS Workflow

Harshitha,
Where should I code this to control the workflow trigger....workflow task is assigned in CAC1 and SAP is picking this task when the time sheet is saved..I am not calling any BAPI to create the time sheet..

In structure BAPICATS1 (used by BAPI_CATIMESHEETMGR_INSERT which is used to
create  CATS time entry)
there is  a component called ALL_DAY_FLAG which determines if the Record is
for Full Day...
i think it is validated with number of hours in workschedule..

in your case i think 8 hrs meaning full day. You could write a code to get
the workflow triggered only if that record is for full day i.e ALL_DAY_FLAG
is flagged.

In our release, on the CATS data entry profile theres the option 'with
approval procedure for exceptions' and a Group.  The Group is used to
specify the Wage Types that cause the Wf Task to be started.  This might
not in your release, as we are using TS31000007 which is the Approval task
that superceeds TS20000460

  I am using standard task TS20000460 for time sheet approval(automatic
  agent determination). I configured this task in CAC1 and working fine.


  But business needs to get this workflow approval  only in certain
  conditions( if hours > 8, then get the workflow triggered).


  Is there any way to control this..any clue is appreciated.
