SRM Item-level Approval BADI Workflow & Deadline Monitoring

i have implemented deadline monitoring in shopping cart workflow. But not for item level approvals.
the problem wtih SRM is that you can't do normal deadline monitoring like R/3. The deadline monitoring has to be
modeled deadline monitoring, in which you can set the deadline condition and then model the outcomes accordingly. How you model is entirely based on your business requirement. 
 
The workflow won't work as a copy so easily. There are some container elements which are constants which contain the workflow and subworkflow numbers, you'll have to change all of that to your workflow number, and also SWB_PROCUREMENT must be taken care of to deactivate standard workflow and to implement the custom workflow for saved and change version saved events of the shopping cart. It's a pretty lengthy process...but with the right expertise it ca be done.
