General conversion question 4.6C and ECC6

We converted our HR system without many issues last year. Only a few WFs
to manage.
I noticed a few issues with some dropped bindings, code errors (warnings
in 4.6c), etc. No biggie. 
 
Now, we are converting our business side. We are debating if we should
disable all WFs and 
bring them on-line individually after code corrections, repair bindings,
etc. 
 
Curious to know (generally) how other WF'rs managed the conversion.
