I used the option 'with approval procedure for exceptions'..I am not using the group instead I found a 'BADI_CATS_APPROVAL' where I implemented logic for workflow start and approver determinaiton.  will it create any issues in future...?

Joe,
I am not sure whether we can have start conditions in this scenario....we are assigng task in SPRO and there is no event binding....
please correct me if I am wrong...

In our release, on the CATS data entry profile theres the option 'with approval procedure for exceptions' and a Group.  The Group is used to specify the Wage Types that cause the Wf Task to be started.  This might not in your release, as we are using TS31000007 which is the Approval task that superceeds TS20000460

Subject: CATS workflow

Hi,
I am using standard task TS20000460 for time sheet approval(automatic agent determination). I configured this task in CAC1 and working fine.
But business needs to get this workflow approval  only in certain conditions( if hours > 8, then get the workflow triggered). 
Is there any way to control this..any clue is appreciated.
