WF translations

Hello Akshay,

the work item header and long text is based on the definition of the Standard Task (TS.......). This definition is not version-dependend, so any changes here take effect immediatly, even for previous running workflow versions.

What is attached to the version-dependend instance is the step-namings as well as the button and result texts for generic decision tasks. I cannot tell, if all languages from those (workflow pattern) texts are copied into the flowitem's instance, but I doubt that. So my guess would be, that only the workflow's starting language texts are all copied into the instance definition.

However, one thing is clear with the work item texts: No versioning here
Everything pattern-dependend (step names, outcomes, decision tasks): To be a 100% sure I'd suggest that you prove it yourself with a sample pattern and translations in your development system (if you need that).
