However, as stated in my message, the IDOC function module actually
calls a BDC to create the vendor, and the called transaction XK01 does
not have the email address in BDC / batch mode.

Hello.

 

I have created a workflow comprising a number of simple form steps to
collect vendor data, and a custom object (Z_LFA1) method to create a
vendor via IDOC CREMAS04.

 

All works well except for the vendor contact email address (SMTP_ADDR) -
the field is not catered for in the IDOC, nor does it appear in a BDC /
CATT execution of transaction XK01 (the IDOC function module
IDOC_INPUT_CREDITOR creates a vendor via BDC).

 

I have found a function module that seems to do the trick,
"FI_APAR_CHANGE_BAS_ADDR1_COMPL" - however, the function is not
released, and whilst available in SAP 620, is actually for the plug-in
application FSCM-BD (Financial Supply Chain Management - Biller Direct).

 

Has anyone had experience of this function to the point they can confirm
it's integrity? Or can anyone suggest a better method of adding a vendor
contact email address?
