Hi Jocelyn,

I am able to add the comments to the task using the userdecisionhandler,
thanks for the help.
But now I'm not being able to find the notes anywhere in the workflow
container.

Could you please tell by which property of the decision task the
comments are being saved and viewed in WF as attachment?

Thanks in Advance,
Pawan Srivastava

Pawan,

Well if you need it to work it in both Portal and SAPGUI then you will
have to code it in two different ways. UWL/web does not do synchronous
dialog chains. Also secondary methods and before/after methods will not
be suitable for this scenario as you have already found.

On the other hand it's simple to create a User Decision with Note in the
UWL through XML configuration - and that doesn't impact how the user
decision is executed in R/3.

What you could do is use a second step with synchronous dialog chain in
R/3, and set it up the workflow to skip the second step if the user
decision was executed via the portal - i.e. if an attachment has already
been added.

Regards,
Jocelyn
