Excel - Adhoc Attacment to Workflow

Hi Deepak,
 
You'll have to consider the possibilty to create the XLS in the foreground (meaning dialog). Such will be significantly simpler because you could use the "document from Template" step..
If I understand correctly, you wish to create the XLS file in the background and then e-mail it or display it as an attachment.
In this case you will not be able to use the "Document from Template" but you will still be able to have your requirement; you will need to program a bit and use standard functions to create XLS file.
 
If you need details about such function just ask.

Hi,

we have maintenance program where a workflow is triggered for any data
modified. the requirement is to pass excel sheet(includes the changes)
to the workflow when it is triggered and the user should be able to see
the excel as an attachment in the workitem in .XLS format and any emails
sent from the workflow.
