Delivery and Post Goods Issue from workflow

Hi Robert, 

 

I did this quite a while ago so details are hazy. Basically I went the SD
route and created a custom sales order type which did automatic delivery (or
you may be able to adjust an existing one). This means when you create a SO
it will issue the delivery upon saving. The picking part can also be
automated in a similar way, unfortunately I can't remember for the life of
me how.... If I get a spare 15 mins I'll check and post back if I can find
out more. Workflow's involvement in all this was to handle exceptions - i.e.
when a delivery couldn't be created or there was no stock to pick etc.

 

The setup worked very well , talk to your SD folks as they would be able to
help you further.

Hi groep,

I am working in SD/MM and I have to create a delivery, do the picking and
post goods issue with reference to a sales document. I have a workflow
starting when the material document is created (transaction MIGO) and I
found 2 FM's: RV_DELIVERY_CREATE and SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING. I have the
RV_DELIVERY_CREATE working but I can't get the other FM working.

Has anyone experience with this?
