Version question

Hi,

1. See in SWDD if the new version of the workflow is in Active status.
Also check if the new version contains the changes
   made by you.
2. Normally, if the transport is imported without any errors, the new
version should generally be active. There have been
some weird cases where activation in the destination system became
essential.
3. If WF is not active, activate it in the destination system.
4. When you test the WF, the changes may not be effected immediately
while testing in the destination system because
workflow occupies a lot of memory(because of graphics). What I do is
log off and log on again. Or wait for some time
for the changes to get replicated... log off and logon... and test
again. I have observed scenarios where I had to
wait for a whole day for the replication to happen.

Please let me know if this helped.

Subject: Version question

Hi folks, I have existing instances of a Workflow in production that
have a bug, ie when a deadline is reached the WF should terminate, but
it does not.

I know the problem and have corrected this bug in development by adding
a process control step in the WF definition.

Now my question is, is it possible to transport this change to
production and have the existing workflow instances 'adopt' this change?
When I transport to Test system, a new version is created and my changes
are not picked up by the running instances (presumably WF creates a new
version as there are already active instances).

Is this just the way it is?
