yes, it is possible, we do it since years, but not with one ready-to-use SAP-BAPI. You have to create your own f.m. with definitions  how to handle some speficific Attributes like Classification, Object-Links, Status, Hierarchies, DocumentBomUsage,  e.g. .

Hi all,

Maybe it's not the right place, but anyway I'll ask here too...

I'm developing a workflow using DMS and in one of my tasks I've to create a document using a template. 

There are several FM's and Badis to do that, but they are creating documents only if the reference doc type is the same with the new doc. type. But in certain cases I must create documents with different doc.types. 

So, my question is: is this possible to create DMS with reference with different doc type?

 

Oh, we are in 4.6c before an ECC 6.0 upgrade
