Add Memo and WI ID

Hi All.
We have requirements where user is able to add comments prior make an
approval or rejection.
This comments actually is a back and forth communication between initiator
and approver(s).
We are thinking to utilize AddMemo from UWL.
Things that we are not sure are:
1. How we retrieve those comments/memo if in the future need to be printed
for audit purposes? I believe the primary key will be work item id but how
to retrieve it?

2. Is there any limitation or maximum size when we are utilizing AddMemo
from UWL?
