How to restart workflow not in error which has just stopped?

Hello,

A small hack that can sometimes nudge stuck workflows back to life: SE37, FM
SWW_WI_STATUS_CHANGE (or something like that -see what's available in 3.1).
Set the status of the top level workitem to ERROR. Then use SWI2_DIAG to
restart it.

Cheers,

Mike

Subject: How to restart workflow not in error which has just stopped?

Hi All,

I have a worlflow which for no apparent reason has just stopped. It is not
in error. There is a loop and the steps in the loop have been logged out of
sequence in the log [SWI1] and it is possible that this is the reason for
the stoppage.

While I don't know why the workflow has stopped my question is it possible
to kick start the workflow to the next step?

The workflow has been in Production for some time and has given no problems
before or since this issue.

We are on version 3.1I.
