Missing functionalities in SAP 4.6C from ECC 5.0 - workflow prespective

Hi Mike & the workflow group,

  Thanks for the suggestions.

  It will be of great help, if anyone can suggest the differences or disadvantages from SAP ver 4.6 C & ECC 5.0 from workflow prespective.

  I do understand that the UWL or Portal functionality will not be available in SAP ver 4.6 C.

  Please do write to me, if anyone of you have faced any challenges in developing workflow templates in 4.6C & trying to implement the functionality of ECC 5.0.

  Please do write your suggestions, its quite urgent.

I suppose, you can view the rule and simulate its resolution with tr
PFAC_DISP. If simulation returns no actor for given shipping point,
you can maintain the assignment in tr PFOM.

Hi,

Thanks a Lot for all your responses regarding the link in workitem, finally
i got it. In my scenario I was using Class event to trigger the Workflow, so
the in the binding between Event and the Workflow we need to map the BO of
the event to workflow container element.
then in the task bind the BO to adhoc objects...

Hi Swathi,

It is stored in SWD_Custom table. You can change the value of
adminstrator in SWDC or SWDC_RUNTIME transactions.

Hello Bala,

As you may have guessed from the message, some tables in ECC6 do not exist
in 4.6c. This is surprisingly common when going from new to older
versions.

You need to build a new workflow in 4.6c.
