Workflow form

You  may  consider  making the dms record your main object making  approval workflow around  object DRAW
 for ecample  a status change workflow thus you may benefit from many  options  available in the CV01N trn.
 for example  adding  classification  to the document  gave  the user an option to choose approvl scenario,.

HI 

Just some advice please. I have a requirement for a workflow that will start with a single page document (thats the current manual process) This will be passed around for approval. Once approved this is the trigger for a specification document to be created, which again will be passed round for approval. 

I intend to use DMS for holding the specification document, but not sure about the trigger document, should I use a workflow form or a word document (and have this as an original document on the DMS DIR). If I use a workflow form,  is there a mechanism that can be used to review the forms that have been created etc is the workflow form an object in its own right, once a workflow ends, what happens to the form?
