Replicating SRM Line item approval

I don't currently have access to an SRM system but I am hoping that someone who does can assist.
A while back I asked a question about line item approval and Natasha was kind enough to answer (as shown below).

Does anyone know if the class/method below is used for line item level approval or is it just for shopping cart level approval. If this is for shopping cart level does anyone know if there is code out there for shopping cart line item level approval?

Alon,

Take a look at class CL_BBP_SMTP_INBOUND_OFFAPP, method EXECUTE, then
WI_EXECUTE. It has series of function modules used for approval.

Hope this helps,
Natasha

Subject: Replicating SRM Line item approval

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to replicate SRM Shopping Cart line item approval for an
external development. Basically what we are trying to do is find a BAPI
or Function Module (or even a series of Function Modules) that we can
call to approve or reject a shopping cart line item. The idea being is
that it should do the same thing as what users do when they
approve/reject from the SRM Inbox.

Any guidance or assistance is greatly appreciated.
