Purchase Order or Purchase Req Release approved - notify

Deidre,

Your requirement is possible and quite simple. In SAP standard workflow template the PO\PR creator is notified for each step released.
If you wish you may add step which will send email to predefined recipients (e.g. PO\PR item requisitioner) upon PO\PR final release.

Hi All,

Thank you very much for your prompt answers. Can you please elaborate
on how do we do that? In my case the users who might receive mails for
approval in their Outlook have no access to SAP meaning they don't
have a SAP user id. Is it possible for someone without access to SAP
execute a process within SAP?

I have never worked on the Outlook and Web Service stuff. Can you guys
please help me out? I appreciate your time and help.

Thanks,

Mark

G'Day,
Extended notifications can do approval/decisions by email.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mark

I also think the idea with the web service is kinda cool. I do know of
a running solution that sends two Hyperlinks within that mail,
pointing to a web-service. One is for "approved" and the other one is
for "rejected". There's a user authorization step in-between to avoid
unintentional decisions.
The invoice could come as an attachment or opened via HTTP
content-Server on the web.
That solutions works pretty fine.

Best regards,
  Florin

Forwarded on behalf of Ralf Schaub, SAP NetWeaver Product Manager (ralf.schaub at sap.com)

Dear all,

I am writing to you gathering valuable input in regards to specifications we currently prepare. As part of our new BPM solution "NetWeaver Business Process Manager" we specify currently the requirements for reporting and process analysis.

I would like to ask for response on the following questions:

1. What are the top 5 reports you run over your existing workflow deployment? Please list both SAP pre-delivered and custom developed reports. The more details you can provide the better we can understand your requirements.

2. What are your top 5 pain points when designing and deploying these reports?

Please feel free to distribute this questions to other members of your community where you feel it is appropriate.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,

Ralf Schaub
