extended notifications

It can be extended to show sap office documents if you create your own notification handler. 
That's the point of the whole new framework - you can extend it to any scenario you like including non-SAP work items.

Guys, Be aware
Extended notifications will only send emails regarding workflow tasks,
it won't send emails for sap office documents, just in case you are
trying for the latter
