Many thanks for all the suggestions - you always learn something new.
I got it working now - all I actually did is re-generate the binding of the event-workflow container.

10x again

Hello Shai,

this usually means that an event receiver (e.g. workflow) returns an
error.

Have you set up a workflow as receiver for this event? Check the bindings.
Check wether it works when you raise the new event manually via SWUE.

kind regards,
Veit

Customer event based change document object KRED

Hello all,

I've created customer event for object type LFA1 called
"ZPostingBlockReset" (via subtype ZLFA1) and created event linkage using
SWU_EWCD, change object KRED.
The problem is that in SWEL I keep getting "Feedback after error" and
"Event put in queue".

Looking at SWEQADM I see event with Event status "Waiting because of e".

Any idea why ? how can I analyze this error ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Shai,

to analyze the parameters passed along when the event is triggered, do
the following:
- Go to the event linkage
- inactivate the current event linkage for the workflow
- create a new entry, but in RECEIVER TYPE' put your user-id and in
RECEIVER FM, put SWE_EVENT_MAIL, and activate
- run your transaction that will trigger the event
- Instead of triggering the worflow, it will now send a mail to your
inbox displaying all the parameters being passed by the event triggered.

Maybe this will help.

Regards,

Hans

Shai

Two examples I've seen

* If it is a single-step task that you are triggering, there might be a
problem with the agent assignment (the exception-when-no-agents-found
seems to feed all the way back up).
* A binding error (in my experience, the most frequent).

Not sure how to analyze further though. Always found this frustrating.

Andy

Hi All,

In ECC5, I have defined a workflow for purchase order based on the release strategies.

In the release strategies, my characteristics are :- Document type- Total amount

In my decision step, the agents determination is based on all the funds centers which are an item data. The funds center is not part of the release strategies characteristics.

My problem is when a funds center is modified or a new item is created, I would like to "refresh" my agent determination (to force the system to refresh purchase order data in my workflow container). How can I do that?

I have tried to trigger a event "Modify" each time the purchase order is modified in order to restart the workflow. But sometime the workflow is triggered twice because in certain case the system triggers at the same time events "Modify" and "releaseStepCreated".It seems to be complicated...
Does anyone have a idea?

Best regards,Xavier
