 Hi,

In the Decision Approval task itself, there is a tab called Latest End.
You can set the Deadline of 1 week in this tab. Also there is a standard
SAP job SWWDHEX which runs every minute and it checks for these deadlines
that are set. You will only need to to create a Step for sending the mail.
When the deadline is set on this tab, automatically after one week the
mail will will be sent. In case if the mail doesn't go through then check
if the Workflow Customizing for Deadline job is done properly in the
Transaction SWU3. Also check if the Job SWWDHEX is running or not.
   Hope this Helps!!

Warm regards,

Hi Wuggers,

I am new to Workflowing, so please excuse me if this query is a
rudimentary one?

I have Decision task that is being sent to the Approver for the approval
of a Sales order created, Now there exists a deadline period of 1 week
after which an email needs to sent to the Approver's MS outlook inbox as
well as the sales orders creator's MS outlook inbox. I know a rule needs
to be created in the PFAC_INS transaction and assigned to this deadline
notification, can any body give me pointers on how to go about this.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Regards
Naren Rathinavelu

Rick,
I agree with your frustration on the PFTC_CHG flipping to display.
Since our upgrade, we have had to get used to opening the TS in a
separate window in the change mode and then return to the parent....
Pain in the ... I would be most interested to see if the other
wugger's are experiencing this same pain.

We did not experience any missing elements when we upgraded.
Best of Luck,
Sherie

No. I am referring to when the conversion finished the WF Templates are
missing elements. And we are latest patch.
I have added them to WF to get them working but wanted to know what the
reason is so we can fix it before we convert.

Also, for some reason when I add an element PA0001-ENAME for example, to
the "ABAP Dict Reference" and save, it changes itself to "ABAP Dict.
Data Type".

And, when I am in PFTC_CHG and open a task of the WF it flips to
Display.
No option to modify task in Change mode. Arrrggghhh!~ Very annoying!

Rick

Rick,
Were the missing container elements initial values? If so, take a look
at OSS note 969389.

We have in our sandbox ECC 6. (A few of issues). Any pointers on any is
appreciated!

1.
I am missing WF containers elements after conversion and can't find a
pattern.
Is there any utilities to run to compare old / new?

2.
Deadline Monitor running but not picking up deadlines.
I had this up and running last month. Now, it is "running" but my
deadlines are not triggering.

Subject: SysLog High Priority Messages After ECC 6.0 Upgrade

Since we upgraded to SAP ECC 6.0. we have been getting a lot of "Very
High Priority"
messages written to the system log, of the form

H0 1 Enqueue for work item 000012345678 deleted by called
application

The documentation says

Documentation for system log message H0 1 :
The enqueue lock for the work item, which was set by the workflow
system
has been invalidated by the execution of an application method in
SAP
Business Workflow. This problem only occurs when the function
module
DEQUEUE_ALL is called within the application method. The workflow

runtime system consequently has an inconsistent status. The
following
     symptoms can arise:

Work items have the status COMPLETED although the completing
event was
            received and processed

The workflow container has an undefined status

Deadlocks occurs in the workflow database tables

We see additionally information as follows

    Task...... 79882
Process Dialog work process No. 001
    User..... WF-BATCH
    Terminal Session 152. ....
    TCode
    Program SAPMSSY1
    Cl T
    Problem cl Transaction Problem
    Package SWF_RUN

Despite the message, everything seems to be (and flow) fine, but we want
to understand the message and take appropriate action.

It seems that the messages are occuring when we call methods that send
eMails.

BTW, the base business objects associated with our workflows are a
delegated FIPP (Parked Document), our copy of BUS7051(General
Notification), and a delegated CATS (Cross-application time sheet).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks...

...Mike
