Event creation usning Business transaction events

Hi All,
 
I have a scenario in FI module, where I have to develop a custom WF for refund , which should start based on payment method eneterd duirng the process.
I understand there is no std WF available starting based on paymenetmethod.
SO for srarting the custome WF and custom event, I was presuming that I need use Business transaction events.
Pls let me know if I am in right diretion, and also let me know where canI get help or details about the same.
I have tried looking in SAP help however, could not found much regarding BTE ( Business transaciton events)
