SRM - Purchase Contract Workflow - Message

Hi All
  I am working on the SRM Purchase contract workflow. When te approver tries to approve the purchase contract, he is getting the following error/message ....
   
  "You're changes cannot be approved"
   
  Please give your inputs..whether the approver is missing any authorization roles etc.
