Workitem status - In process ??

Have you checked the Agent Assignment? Is your task classified as 'General Task' or assigned to some agent type?
 
If the task is not classified, even if the Workitem is in status 'In Process' no message is sent.

I m not getting any Workitem in the inbox of manager . this means ?? is there some problem with my WF or Workitem will take some time to be delivered in managers inbox.? Many Thanks in advance.
