Terminating Events Problem

Hi,
 
I have a workflow for Purchase Requisition.
If there is a cancel Rejection Done for the PR outside the workflow (not using Business Workplace).
The Workitem Created initially does not make any sense.SO i have used a Terminating Event Rejection_Stop.
My Workflow is triggered with the event Releasestepcreated.
When i check the the Txn SWE3 i dont see any Instance linkage created for the terminating event.
There is binding also done for the Terminating event.
 
Am i missing out any additional steps for using the terminating Event.
