Suppress ending a

You might want to try the "Conditions" tab when setting up a workflow step
.
You can control when a work item is created or completed. I've used it
successfully, by using a virtual attribute to determine if a certain
condition exists.
Work great, and it saves having to create events (and the related code to
trigger it) to determine if a certain condition exist.
Must make sure that batch job SWWCOND is always running.
Hope this helps.

To solve this problem, I’ve used the ‘Completion’ check box, and also used
a loop to edit for the condition I’m expecting. If the field you want to
validate is not on the business object, you will have to extend the
business object to include the values you need to edit.
Good luck,
John

Hi all,
I am using a lot of dialog task with synchronous methods in it (e.g.
BUS1001006.EDIT). As soon as anybody processes a workitem using such a
task he may end the workitem without taking any action but by using the
standard navigation buttons "Back(green)", "Exit(yellow)" and
"Cancel(red)". The task is interpreted as successfully completed.
During my participation in the BIT601 SAP Education course I heard about
an option to "suppress" this behavior. I would like the workitem with a
task that uses a synchronous method to stay in any status that is not
"completed" (think it would be "commited" or "ready").
Is there any sollution for this issue? Any options you may give me? Thank
you very much in advance!!!
