Hi,

Even i also spend almost 10 days on extended notification. after that i tried with program. i will tell you what difference i found. then u may get some idea.

if use Extended notifications, you will get the J2EE links, it take through web. there is no need of any sap log on pad is required in your PC.

where as program will give the attachements with SAP links that means it will connect to sap through SAP log o pad. directly you can see the sap screen.

i am keen to know, did u succeeded to connect to sap through notification mail links.

Thanks & Regards,
Sri harsha.M

Hi,
We are on ECC6.0
I think I have read somewhere on the forum , that we should go for extended notifications in case of higher versions instead of RSWUWFML2.

It would be nice if you can explain me the differnce between Extended notifications and RSWUWFML2.
i.e. in which case to go for which option?

Regds,
Akshay Bhagwat

Hi,

if u want to send notification for workitems in mail box.. simple you can schedule the program RSWUWFML2 with out selecting the check boxes of execute and display workitem. Try this. At least just execute this program once.

Why you need to go for extend notification.

Wanted to kow is there a way by which we can hide the links like (Execute work item ,Display work item )

which are sent when the work item is sent to outlook email address of the user and only present him the link with Inbox ?

Thanks in advance.
