Time Approval Task 4.6c ->ECC6 upgrade

In 4.6c we had task TS20000460 as the Time Approval task for ESS. 
It would create one task for each user and one task could contain
multiple days.

Now, after upgrade to ECC6 using task TS31000007 we are getting one task

for all mgr's employs. Not one task for each emp.

Can someone tell me where in SPRO this is defined? 
And is it all config or something else I need to do to get the
functionality of 4.6c 
besides rolling back to task TS20000460.
