Abir,
You can find the employee number (PERNR) from the userid by using the
object USR01DOHR, attriubte "number".

Subject: Problem with Rule while using FM

Hi,
In our current project, I've created one Function Module
(Z_FIND_MANAGER) to find the manager, using the function templet of
SWX_GET_MANAGER. It was working fine with my custom rule, and was
returning the Manager(s) user-ids.
Now according to the changing requirement, we also need to send
back the PERNR of the manager, along with the UserID. But if I add one
exporting table parameter containing the PERNR(s) to my FM, the FM is
not working with rule. Error reads, the Function module does not meet
the workflow conventions.
Is there any way-out that I can uses the FM in the rule as well as
return the PERNR table to the workflow.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Abir Kundu
