Thanks for that. 
How/where can I find out more about the portal application thats linked to 
the standard wrkflow and how I would modify it if the requirements can t 
be changed?

G'Day John

Have you scrutinized this requirement, usually the trip approval workflow 
goes to line manager and trip admin for approvals. Is there any specific 
reason why user would like to forward the WI by himself. Maybe you can 
persuade them to a fixed agent determination rule. 

Secondly, if using standard trip approval workflow, there is an portal 
application(BSP or WebDynpro) binded to this, to be able to use standard 
workflow you need to modify that.
The other approach is to create your own Z copy of this workflow , do the 
changes and use it, in this case you will loose the portal look n feel, 
the generic task launcher should be able to launch your tasks in WebGUI.
