Binding between workflow and rule container?

Jakub,

Rule evaluation takes place before task execution (and stored in WF runtime tables at workitem level).
Result from rule container to workflow item container happen only after task execution. 

As per ECC6.0 problems: what basis package are you using ?

Hi everybody,

we upgraded from 4.72 to ECC 6.00.

we are determinining responsible users (agents) for workflow task by the 
rule (own function module). Result of function module with determined 
responsible users is written back to the workflow container - 
"Rule_Result.Agents" from rule container are written to "Actor_tab" in 
workflow container (binding from rule container to workflow container). 
Recipients of message when "requested end missed" are determined also by 
rule (own function module) based on values in Actor_tab from workflow 
container (result of rule container with responsible users for task).

Problem in ECC 6.0 is, that result with responsible users from rule 
container to workflow container is written to Actor_tab in workflow 
container after execution of task, not after execution of rule (so it was 
in 4.72 - the result from rule container to workflow container was written 
immediately after execution of rule).

Technical documentation for workflow is very brief, I havent found any 
information about it.

When should be result from rule container (with determined agents for 
task) written to workflow container? After execution of task or 
immediately after execution of rule?
