forwarding of workitem while approval in SRM

Hi,
 
I'm implementing the SRM BADI workflow, and i'm facing a strange problem.
when an approver approves a changed PO, it's giving a popup message saying that the PO is approved, but is getting forwarded to the creator of the PO. And then the creator of the PO and approver both become agents. Have anybody faced this kind of problem..Please help me out.
