Shopping cart Item BADI issue

I am working in the SC_Change Badi within the shopping cart. When a user 
hits the order button we are coding "Hard errors".
My issue is when a hard error is shown back to the user, they now can not 
change anything on the screen unless we hit the CHECK button.
Is there a way to "open the screen" up for input again after you code the 
HARD error?
