Shopping cart Item workflow with WS14500015

Hi Sandeep, 

 

Does this problem only happen with the 3rd approver ? (there is a total of 4
you said, so in fact the 3rd approver is as the 2nd and 1st approver, so
nothing should change)

Have you checked all the approval step are they exactly the same ?

Change the security level to 0 (I think it is 0 never restart) and do a
test.

 

Are you approving the whole shopping cart or only items ?

 

Do you have a delivery date in the past ?

Thanks for responding back.

 

1. The SC is never changed or rejected.We are testing a simple multilevel
approval scenario.

2. Security parameters are set to medium and not altered at all..same for
all levels of approval.

3. We are having the problem for the basic test case.

 

Iterating what  i said,

say I have 4 levels approval for an item. the approval preview while
creating or checking status is very fine as expected.

after second level approval, for third level, even if the approver approves,
the workitem doesnt leave his/her inbox. And the check status approval
preview says......

item x approved by 'MGR10' on xxxxxxxxx date and time

item x in approval by 'MGR10' since xxxxxxxxx date and time

 

This is vey weird.

 

Please help us ! 

Any sample code as how the item level - multiple level - parallel approval
works.

Have you check that no changes have been made to the SC before the approval 
? And have you check the parameter for the security on the user master ?

Those security parameters can restart a workflow if not choosen correctly



What is the event that starts your second workflow ?

Hi

We have an issue here regarding the workflow.



Once an approver approves the workitem, workflow is again resubmitting the
workitem.



Even the approval preview in the SC status is showing two lines - 

first one says ""SC.. approved by MGR10 at 08/04/2007 12.30"

second line says ""SC..  in approval by MGR10 since 08/04/2007 12.30"



This problem is because a restart approval step event is being triggered. 
Also the workflow container attribute APPROVER_LIST, the current approver
line is getting duplicated. Old line with approval state 0 and new with 2.
So it is resubmitting again.



Please help me asap. It is a very high priority deliverable for me. 



Any notes/help will be extremely appreciated.
