how to email to position

Hi Nash,
 
What you need to have is a preceding background step which retrieve the position and save it within the workflow container element (say MAILRECIPIENT). Than you can send the email to expression &MAILRECIPIENT&.
 
BTW, if this email is sent automatically after specific task is completed then alternatively to the option specified above, you can specify the recipient position within this task step at notification tab.

Can someone tell me how to send email to group of people assigned to a
position. I'm doing PR release workflow. release codes are assigned to
positions.
